Atlas Energy, Inc, the managing general partner of the natural gas drilling partnership programs, and its affiliates, operate more than 10,000 natural gas wells located in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan, Indiana and Tennessee.

Since 1985, Atlas Energy, Inc has sponsored 22 public and 38 private partnerships. In the partnerships, Atlas Energy, Inc and its affiliates act as the operator and the general drilling contractor and are responsible for drilling, completing, and operating the wells. Atlas Energy, Inc and its affiliates have a 97% completion rate for wells drilled by their development partnerships.
